MY JOURNEY

My name is Kelly Muñoz. I was born in Colombia and have lived in the US since 2006. I am an entrepreneur, I love to create, explore, transform, beautify, and build.

I studied Civil Engineering and I have been managing my company since 2009. But this is only one part of what I do. I have been pursuing a spiritual development path since 2000.

Being an engineer was my first path of embodiment that supported me to cultivate intellect, logic, reason, leadership, character, courage, and discipline. This path empowered me in my masculine energy. 

However, my inner knowing, my intuition, my connection with my senses and body, and my feminine energy was dormant. I was out balanced focusing mainly on producing, working, achieving, and doing. Doing everything but feeling. Therefore, my body started to send me messages through illness, and dissatisfaction with my life.

I reached a point where I had a lot of knowledge, but I felt stagnant in my spiritual evolution.  To go beyond this point, I needed to go inside and heal my childhood wounds. Because at this point in my evolution, the intellect could only bring me so far, then my heart needed to be healed to continue the spiritual path of my embodiment. 

Deciding to heal took courage, because I had to be willing to uncover those wounds to heal them directly from the source that created them. Walking through this path of pain was the door of my true liberation. 

In the search for healing and knowing myself on a deeper level and to understand my subconscious behaviors and beliefs; I started studying Astrology and Tarot.  

Through this path, I discovered that: we don’t just develop a personality based on how we were raised, where we were born, or any socioeconomic, or cultural conditions; instead, many aspects of ourselves are determined before we arrive and have little to do with these conditions. These conditions are the outer reflections of the vibration of previous lives. Our personality is the result of the position of each of the planets at the moment of birth.

Understanding my Astrological Birth Chart led me to understand the tools that I was born with and provided me a manual on how to use them for the development of my full potential.

Learning to read the Tarot and its symbolism—as the journey of the human experience, led me to discover the hidden wisdom contained in the Tarot cards and the corresponding relationship with both the Tree of Life and Astrology. This has been the Aha! Moment for me.  This path of hidden wisdom was the foundation that gave birth to my Embody Your Energy Method. 

“I went outwards to understand the Universe, then inwards to understand my body, and then I found the path that connected both the outer and the inner worlds.”

Through my healing process, I started feeling my body, and for the first time I realized how dormant it was. I embraced these sensations and started to open to a higher understanding of my relationship with my body and Mother Earth. 

Meditation, movement, breathing techniques, singing, and being in nature have been practices that helped me to connect with my body. Sound and movement are an integral part of keeping our bodies in balance and harmony. My curiosity for learning more about this, led me to experience a path of study and training with a group called The Sound Body.  

Exploring movement to heal my body opened another door of knowledge. By Divine Grace I learned about Ecstatic Awakening Dance, and I was connected to the School of Ecstatic Movement where I received training and certification as a teacher in this method.

There have been many other paths that empowered me on my journey of embodiment such as: Metaphysics, Plant Medicine, Shamanism, the Subtle Body and Chakras, and others, leading me to find my truth within my body. “Our true power comes out when our feminine and masculine energies are balanced. Our true beauty comes out when we know who we really are.”

As a result of all these studies, practices, and through my journey of self-discovery, I have created My Embodiment Journey.
